the briefcase finally caught up with the times
Anupdate of the briefcase was long overdue, since the bulk of actual paperfolders are something businessmen of present day rarely have to worry about. Alaptop with accessories and some writing material is really all he using, sowhy not fit his briefcase after his needs? Since the persona of the modernbusinessman not only move around with less stuff, he is also more mobile thebefore. Commuting with car, train, bike, walking or plane longer needs to beeffortless, no matter how great the distance.

My solutionis the Commutercase. It is slimmed down to only hold the bare essentials, likeyour laptop with charger and whatever writing materials you need. In order tokeep your computer safe inside the bag while removing a lot of thebulk/protection a change of protective material is needed, this is why I choseto use a chock absorbing foam used in protective gear for a vide variety ofcontact sport such as football and ice hockey. This gives excellent protectionwhile not adding on any unnecessary weight. To create a strong frame for thebag I chose a lightweight wood, both for it protective qualities and itā€™sbeautiful aesthetic. I also gave the commutercase the possibility to be turnedinto a backpack with just a simple adjustment of the strap at the bottom of thebag; this allows the costumer to ride his bike without ruining the bag in thewheel. It also eliminates the risk of fatigue in the arm/shoulder, no matterhow long you travel.
